Recently SBACo guides were able to lend a helping hand by partnering with Island Packers and other tour companies to keep the Channel Islands clean. While the National Park Service helps keep the islands of Anacapa, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, and San Miguel a pristine sanctuary for an abundance of marine plant and animal life, waste such as cans, bottles, and lobster traps will occasionally wash ashore from the depths of the Pacific Ocean. Utilizing their kayaking skills, the SBACo team was able to clean up an impressive amount of trash, allowing them to give back to a place that gives us and our guests joy and tranquility all year long.
