There is a special group of guides that spend their summers cast away off the California coast on Santa Cruz Island in Channel Islands National Park. These special people will guide hundreds of guests a season through “Marge Simpson” and into Cavern Point – showing visitors the wonders of the sea caves, pointing out the locals (island foxes and sea lions) and kayaking the island waters. They will help guests “right” kayaks and assist children with helmets and life jackets. They go out of their way to ensure guests of various ability leaves and with specials-needs can see this amazing national treasure.
